Getting started with WASC Adult Education

Helpful information about taking classes with this provider

Classes at WASC Adult Ed

  • Free classes offered for High School Diploma completion, GED Prep, Basic Skills, Citizenship Prep, and ESL. Career courses may have a fee. Financial assistance is available for those who qualify.

    • ​Classes are held in the morning and evening. New classes start each semester

  • Registration is online and on-site: Green Valley Center: 294 Green Valley Rd, Watsonville, CA or 319 La Fonda Ave, Santa Cruz, CA 95062

  • All new students need to complete a new student registration form and placement assessment. Registration is online and on-site: Green Valley Center: 294 Green Valley Rd, Watsonville, CA, or 319 La Fonda Ave, Santa Cruz, CA 95062.

  • There are classes available in English and Spanish

  • Staff is available to help students complete registration forms

  • Many classes may be started at any time throughout the semester.

  • A social security number or high school diploma is not required to take classes.

  • Cap and gown graduation ceremony takes place at the Mello Center every Spring.
